Apple Freedom 4 Year

Freedom was developed by Cornell University as a highly disease resistant variety. It is resistant to apple scab, powdery mildew, cedar apple rust, and some fire blight. The flavor is sweet and juicy with a crisp and medium coarse flesh. It is good for cooking and cider. 

Apples require pollinators, so another variety of apple should be nearby for production. Some recommended pollinators include Granny Smith, Sweet Sixteen, or Winecrisp.  

This tree is Zone 4, so it will do well in most of the region including the colder areas such as Rathdrum and Athol.

Trees need full sun and should be planted minimum 10ft apart from other fruit trees.
