SnowSweet apples were developed by the University of Minnesota. It is sweet and slightly tart with snow white flesh. The flesh is also slow to brown after cutting, making it a good apple for salads and slices. It's rich taste make it good for fresh eating as well.
Apples require pollinators, so another variety of apple should be nearby for production. Some recommended pollinators include Macoun, Spartan, Golden Sentinel, Gala, Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, or Dolgo Crabapples.
This tree is Zone 4, so it will do well in most of the region including the colder areas such as Rathdrum and Athol.
Trees need full sun and should be planted minimum 10ft apart from other fruit trees.
