Northpole is a narrow, columnar tree, good for small yards and along fences. Fruit is bright red, crisp, juicy and aromatic.
Apples require pollinators, so another variety of apple should be nearby for production. Some recommended pollinators include Golden Sentinel, Scarlet Sentinel, Empire, Freedom, Golden Russet, Spartan, or Yellow Transparent.
This tree is
Zone 4, so it will do well in most of the region including the colder areas
such as Rathdrum and Athol.
Trees need
full sun and should be planted minimum 10ft apart from other fruit trees.
