Apple Akane 4 Year

These apples have a sweet, rich, and spicy flavor. They are an excellent and well-liked red dessert apple. The trees are resistant to apple scab and powdery mildew. 

Apples require pollinators, so another variety of apple should be nearby for production. Some recommended pollinators include Fuji, Gala, Granny Smith and Golden Delicious. 

This tree is Zone 4, so it will do well in most of the region including the colder areas such as Rathdrum and Athol. 

Trees need full sun and should be planted minimum 10ft apart from other fruit trees.
