Developed by the University of Minnesota, Triumph is tart and well balanced. Good for fresh eating, it also has a long storage life of up to 6 months.
Apples require pollinators, so another variety of apple should be nearby for production. As a cross between Honeycrisp and Liberty, neither apple can be used as a pollinator. Some recommended pollinators include Wolf River, McIntosh, Freedom, Cortland, Jonathan, or Dolgo Crabapples.
This tree is Zone 4, so it will do well in most of the region including the colder areas such as Rathdrum and Athol.
Trees need full sun and should be planted minimum 10ft apart from other fruit trees.
