Developed by the University of Minnesota, Honeycrisp has become one of the most popular apple varieties. Apples are crispy, juicy, and aromatic. They are popular for fresh eating and baking and also store well. 

Apples require pollinators, so another variety of apple should be nearby for production. Some recommended pollinators include Gala, Golden Delicious, Freedom, Granny Smith, or Jonathan.  

This tree is Zone 4, so it will do well in most of the region including the colder areas such as Rathdrum and Athol.

Trees need full sun and should be planted minimum 10ft apart from other fruit trees.
